Gear trouble

I'm a bit confused on where the problem is and what to do.

My gear set up is Shimano Tiagra on my Trek 1.5 triple.
When I'm in the biggest ring of my crankset and either of the 3 smallest on my rear cogs I keep getting a clicking/rubbing sound which also only happens for example on the downstroke of my right foot.
If I press my front mech shifter to the right it seems to help stop the noise momentarily then it flairs up again. But the sound seems to be coming from my rear mech?

The bikes only a couple of weeks old so I understand you can get line stretching. I've had a go at twisting the old screwy thing along side the down tube of the frame but that doesn't seem to have helped any. Is there anything I can do or should i just get it booked in for it's post sale check up?

Sorry it's a but vague but I'm a bit new to this so everything is still thingymajigs and whatumacallits.

Thanks
Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
I RIDE A KONA CADABRA -would you like to come and have a play with my magic link?
