Looking after my pride and joy!

Hi all got my bike yesterday (genesis core 20) done about 10 miles in two rides, did'nt get it dirty the first ride but got back tonight from a good two hour ride through dirt tracks and disused bridel paths and was absolutely covered in mud.So what i want to know is how to best clean my bike and what products to use.
