My neighbour bought this bike at the local dump recently and I can't identify the frame. Three pictures below - does anyone know who made the frame, when and how the suspension works? And also whether spares are availble for the suspension?

Is there actually a hinge (bush or bearings) between frame and dropout, not obvious!

Looks like a very cheap elastomer bush has been inserted into the seatstay to provide some 'give' don't think there is much to replace, but I could be wrong!

  • Nothing there other than what you can see. Under the flexible covers are a couple of solid rubber elastometers a la Brompton etc. They're rock solid now. The frame looks purposely built and is nicely put together, especially the pivot around the bottom bracket. It's not a DIY job.

I've seen the frame somewhere before but the name passes me by.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
