Hi Will - Just wondering how you're getting on with the new riding position? Did you leave things as Hewitts set them up, or ring them, or just change them to what felt best?
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

Hopefully the reason he hasn't posted is due to the new tweaks have made his riding so much fun he's too busy on the bike! :)

He's too busy wondering or not should do a TLI on Tuesday....... to see this post

    What if he gets dropped?

    Is it a TT then?

Do I have to do 10 laps on my own when I get dropped?

How do I take the corners? I worried about slipping and bringing the bunch down.

Boy does the bunch look tightly packed - looks scary.

    How much is it?

    Etc etc etc

Too much on his mind I'm afraid to see this

Well all those questions are what I'd be wanting to know, I ask allot of questions, I need to be sure.

I've left the position as Hewitts set it, seems ok so far, the reason I must have being slow and crap on the way back from hewitts is probs cause I did not want to ride that day, it was peeing it down and the road to Belmont must have been harder than it looked, I did 101 miles today and I was going up the hills fine, quite faster than usual actually.

Bit of a coincidence but since then my handlebars started creeking, I've had the fork and it all off, appears there is play in the bearing at the bottom where the fork goes in, like a gap in between the bearing housing and the frame, don't know if it's normal but the clicking when pulling at all was really starting to annoy me, don't know if it's gone yet but I'm sure it's not a crack.

Fair play Will, i'm supposed to be doing a TT on tues(my 1st taste of anything other than pleasure) my pig-headedness is the only thing stopping me from asking questions. As long as i get 30 mins or below i'll be happy, on that note what times do the slowest riders come in at :?:

From TT's I've done the slowest is usually around 30-35, most people getting under 30 though. I managed 26:46 I think, ages ago though, I might be faster/slower now though.

    I did a 27.39 last week.

    Will -

Are you doing a TLI? Is it the one in Siddington near me?

So overall, would you say the fitting seems to have worked for you, even though it feld odd to start with? Has it helped with the aches and pains you were getting previously?

It's the one at oulton park or w/e it's called, the racing track, but I cant get there anyway. I posted on the wheelers, I do want to do it but at the same time I'm scared of falling off or doing something wrong in the pack.

Well back ache has gone, I feel I have as much power up the hills now, it certainly feels like a better position yea :)

Hmmm that is indeed a thought, but it's abit crap going through bolton and that, I've got a 55ish mile ride that does some hills, not much climbing, only around 3500ft.

The roads, the buses, everything that's crap about Manchester is crap about Bolton and nearly every other city hehe.

Are you in Manchester? Maybe you should come on the short ride I'm planning to do later on as I'm not going to get to the TLi so might aswell do a hilly ride cause I love the hills

Would love to will, except im in bloody worcester working (posting this from a cafe). Theres a few cracking hills around horwich and belmont if you deviate slightly, im unsure if I could do the belmont mast one as my hybrid had extremely low gears to allow the pain to subside!

Unlucky that you're working, or should I say lucky? As at least you're earning some monies :D

Don't you have a road bike?

Don't you go out with the wheelers? Sunday was a good run @ 101 miles and like 8000ft+ of climbing.
