Hmmm decisions

Well July is just around the corner and work wise that means annual review time. Even though with the current economical crisis (yawn...) it's looking a very slim chance of a pay rise I'm thinking if I do I might spash it on a new Giant X5 and pretend I never got a pay rise.
Is it just me who keeps a ridiculously long wish list that ultimately changes every week or so! I suppose that's part of the fun, wanting stuff you havn't got, the grass is greener on the other side and all...

To be honest mate It's far more fun riding and getting out on the trails than it is trawling through the latest products. I got a Trance X and have only recently started adding some minor upgrades. You've got to get out there and push the bike to its limits and enjoy the thrill of mtbing.
If you're thinking of getting the Giant Trance X5 I fully reccomend it. The maestro suspension is the best I've ever come across and it's so stable it makes shocks like the Fox RP23 completely pointless and out of the saddle efforts are 100% efficient.
Saying that I am thinking of getting a 2010 Nomad or Giant Reign if the funds do present themselves, sorry If I've contradicted myself0 -
Ha, didn't mean it to come across like that's all I do, believe me my bike will get a good work out at least once a week, I just can't resist looking at potential buys, but I see there's a number of threads about that already!
Hmm yeah a number of reviews have bigged up the maestro, and for the price range it has come out shining from a number of price group reviews. We'll see what happens, there's a trial day on sunday so hopefully I'll get to jump on a bike or two...0 -
