Hi all, I've just squeezed some 2.35 tyres on some 17mm I.D. dt swiss 4.1 rims and although they seem ok. I wondering if it might all and in tears. Any thoughts/advice gratefully recieved. Paul.

It is on the limit - possibility they may roll off the rim at low pressures.

Thanks Supersonic, guess I sort of felt that might be the case but was hoping someone might say "they'll be fine". The dilema now is, do I ride even more slowly than usual, waiting for them to come off the rims, (not easy), or bite the bullet and buy the right sized tyres? Thanks again, Paul.

you may also find the chain catches on the tyre.
