What angle should I ride at?

I know its a strange question, but what angle do you ride at when holding the tops of the bar, when cruising along? (i.e: I mean if you sat up straight with no hands on the bar that would be 90º and lying flat across the top tube being 0º). Since getting the new Ribble Sportive (which is great by the way), I seem to be sat up a little more than before, maybe as much as 5º degrees. It feels more comfortable and doesn't seem to have slowed me down though, as its without a doubt faster than the binachi by some way. Is there any angle which I should be aiming for? Or should I be happy with the feel, reach etc. Does it really matter what angle I'm at? Am I sat up more because the Ribble Sportive is a bit more urm …..Sportive and relaxed in its riding postion/geometry? Anything I should know or need to worry about? Is there a set standard for what angle your body should be at....etc.

I'd just like to say, I measured up, checked the sizing against my bianchi which I rode for 18 months with no probs. I got a (Medium) 52cm which am more than happy is the right size for me. A 49cm or a 55cm would have been to small/big.
