I currently have a 9 speed Shimano Ultegra groupset on my racer, but would like to put a compact chainset on there for the Marmotte. If I fitted a Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed Chainset on there, would it be compatible and work with no problems?

Thanks, Dom.

Also, if I want to change the inner Veloce chainring to 36t. Would any 110mm BCD chainring on the market work? I was thinking something by Stronglight (a CT2) or a TA Zicral.

If your chainset is Ultra Torque one of the bolt holes is slightly offset. TA do a replacement called a Nerius (or very similar name) for UT chainsets. If you have a square taper a TA Zephyr is the one to go for. Both were around £28 when I bought one a couple of years ago.

Thanks Joe, I'll look out for the Nerius. Good thing I asked!
