I have just got some Rithcey WCS carbon flat bars 31.8mm... link below.

I have 2 questions

Is this the correct stem I need to order to fit the bars?

http://www.ritcheylogic.com/dyn_prodfamily.php?k=114831

Last question is...

I also need to order a carbon Ritchey headset to match the bars & stem I have looked on the Scott data & it states the original spec as "Ritchey OE 1 1/8" semi integrated 44/50m" but I don't know which one to order & also will I need spacers?

TIA

Brad.

    what frame is it?

does the headset have cups (internal or external) of does the bearing run directly run in the frame?

    pics in the MTB FAQs.

Personally im not keen on that stem most decent stems designed for carbon bars from what i've seen are wider at the front to reduce stress.

Me i use the use race stem and it's great, expensive though but it's a bit better than thomson stems imo.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

OK No info on Scotts webby

but at a guess it is a zero stack or Internal headset.

with 44mm OD cups and your bike has a 50mm diameter headtube.

so the press fit on the Ritchey site

like is said the press fit one.

and it is the Zerostack/internal standard as you will have cups pressed into the frame.

    Look in the MTB FAQs

well like i said if it has cups then that is the one you need.

Look in the MTB FAQs for pictures to see if you have that type. Zerostack/internal

Only you can confirm this unless you post up a picture like the ones in the MTB FAQs.

what headset does your bike need I DO NOT know. but from the little info you have given i would say it is the Zero stack/internal headset. Or the Press fit as i have already said.
