Bargain!!!

Just contacted my local Evans Cycles to order the Genesis Core 20 on offer at £599. They agreed to price match the offer £550 advertised by Square Wheels Cycles but then further offered to reduce the price to £510 if i paid in full. Order placed!!!!

    That is a bargain. I thought it was great when I got mine reduced to £550 price matched then Deffler said he got his down to £522.50 with an extra 5% discount.

    Now £510. Guess we best wait nad see who can be the first to break past the £500 mark.

    I got the impression that their sales week finishes on a Saturday & they were having a bad week. I did call a number of their stores before being offered that price. Worth calling round first & definately on a Saturday.

    Collected my Geneis Core 20 today from Evans Cycles. Unfortunately when i arrived they had built up the wrong size so had to wait for an hour. For my trouble they gave me £20 worth of accessories.
    Love the bike, love the price, service not bad either.

    Woo hoo. Another one of us out there.

    Didn't really have a problem with Evans apart from the fact they didn't provide the Cycra Guard it should come with and when I emailed them they claimed it was a misprint on the Genesis brochure. I then contacted Genesis who said it should have one and they send them out to Evans.

    Only very minor and was dissappointed someone felt the need to lie but the shop staff in Nottingham were fantastic.

    I always say good service is not about getting it right first time it's about how they go about amending their mistakes.
    Anyway, enjoy the Core!

    Before i ordered mine i rang a number of their stores & i specifically asked about the Cycraguard. Some stores said they either come with one or they don't. Luck of the draw. When i contacted the store in Manchester they informed me that all theirs were sold with the guard because Genesis insisted on it.
    Got the matching rear guard FOC.
    Very happy!!!
