The rain isn't going to please Osama if he was going to try win today.

    Fastest Giro ever.

    40.1 km/h

I'd put that down to the lack of climbing.

Jens going at 15km/h without a TT bike. That wary of the rain on the cobbles?

Maybe the riders were just bored and wanted to get it over with?

Can't wait til I read in the press that it was slower so cycling must be cleaning up

    Bruyneel whinging already.

Just did a recon of the tt course. All my respect for Roma, it's a beautiful city but this course is a joke. Ri-di-cu-lous!

    Let's neutralise a TT, eh?

Jens first time check had him 118 out of 122 due to the rain.

The sun is coming out now though.

27 withdrawals all Giro. Another indicator that the tour is not a tough one.

    Seven dope tests for Levi.

Pretty fast day yesterday - 28mph for 125miles.

Wiggo is more than likely going to miss out on the stage win by one second.

We all know 8 seconds in the Tour, but what's the smallest winning margin in the Giro?
