New Bike- 09 Trek 6300 or SPECIALIZED 09 ROCKHOPPER COMP

So my cycle2work voucher has arrived and the bike I set my heart on is of course out of stock for the next few months lol

So I have narrowed it down to 2 bikes, What do you peeps think the better bike is ?

TREK 09 6300 WHITE

OR

SPECIALIZED 09 ROCKHOPPER COMP

I personally would go for the Trek, the frame on it is a quality frame. Although the specialzed miight seem 'funkier' the trek 6300 white paintjob is stunning in real life.

Test both & see which one you prefer.



Although purely on spec, the Trek has a Dart fork :shock: on a £675 bike that is a joke, pi$$ poor fork even on a £300 bike.

I'd get the better specced Spesh if it was my money & they were the only 2 bikes to chose from

Yeah, From a ride POV both feel good, Just cant decide on what one.

I was also tempted by the GENESIS 09 CORE but at 6 foot 4" I wasn't sure that the biggest side of 20" would be big enough and they didn't have one to test.
