Ok so i ve had the pitch now for 9 monthes and its time for a new rear wheel!
Too many low px bad landings have totalled the one that came with it. So with that in mind can any one recommend a good strong all mountain set of wheels that can stand up to some good beatings?

Just rear or both (the original post suggests both options)?

321 rims with either an XT or Pro II (if you can stand the noise) hub, hand built somewhere decent would be my first option.

Hope Hoops or MAvic 521's on Pro II's both sets come in at under £300, which allows you money for a SLX cassette and a nice KMC X9.93 chain

Sounds like you need a Wagon wheel to learn how to land

Bought a set of the Stans Flow rims on Pro II, Hope Hoops recently. Much beefier/wider than what I had on before yet only comes in at 1900g, all going well so far :) They've made my Nobby Nic 2.4 huge though!
