Best Kit?
So now we have seen plenty of racing this season and bidon full of Cav victories, does anyone have a different perspective on the initial horror of seeing the Columbia kit from when it was first presented and if not what is your favorite?
Personally I still think the Columbia kit is a shocker (sorry Cav) and the Cervelo kit is king, closely followed by the slightly modified from last year Caisse d'Epargne and Quick Step kits.

Quick-Step.Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.0

I didn't like the Milram kit until my 11yr old pointed out they look like cows, I knew they were a milk company but is the cow look for real?0
-
Francaise des jeux, always have the best kit. worst... has to be the milram cows, dreadful! I live in germany and was hoping to follow their results, but that cow look puts me right off.0
-
CdE and FDJ are the best Pro Tour kits.
I like Landbouwkrediet for the Contos. LPR used to be good when it was black.0 -
Saxo Bank most disappointing, especially after the CSC years of lookin' good
I vote for Euskaltel-Euskadi's distinctive kit though, and not just cos I is part Basque. Oh ok maybe it is.
Least favourite: Garmin-Slipstream. Jeez.0 -
The first time I saw the ISD kit, at the team presentation, I thought it had been designed by someone on acid. Bad acid. Now I have to say that I quite like it and think it looks alright on the bike. Do I need to seek help?
Best kit award - Cervelo (just ditch the helmets)-- Dirk Hofman Motorhomes --0 -
FdJ and Cervelo are probably the 2 best team kits.
Sexy bank just aren't as sexy as they used to be, and columbias design will never ever look good."I hold it true, what'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost;
Than never to have loved at all."

like everyone said at the start of season, hopefully Cav will win the national jersey for the tour but if one of the cervelos win the BC nationals that'd look good with them giant e's on both sides0

Almost. Mario Cipollini.
The worst thing about the ISD jersey is that the one they wore for the early part of the season was really quite nice:
+1 about the Saxo Bank jersey. Horribly bland.0 -
My favourite was the Quick Step belgian champ kit, but the Silence Lotto belgian champ is nice, so probably as long as it's belgian I like it.0
-
FdJ (not least becuase I'm wearing the 2008 cap, jersey and shorts as I type this (and yes, I have just got back in from a ride, I don't normally prance around in spandex. On a saturday afternoon anyway))
CTT.
Liked last years Leekygas but this years not so much.
Rapha Condor looks very tasteful too (I know, not protour but her, ar5ed.).0 -
CTT's is awful! Can't stand black at all!
Saxobank's is quite nice!
As for the worst - gotta be Astana.0 -
confession time, i LOVE the lampre kit and bought the full outfit haha.
but then i am a girl so flouro pink = awesome!0 -
Columbias is awfull which is a shame as I really liked the old high road jersey.
Think I'll wear mine tomorrow.

I think this should become the Astana fan's standard response."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

When did Jan Ullrich sign for Lampre?"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

Like
Lampre
Agritubel
Milram
Liquigas...hmmm not sure about this one, but it's growing on me
Dislike
Silence Lotto
Fuji Servetto
In fact I could go on, there's quite a lot of blandness this season.0 -
Talking of looking good in kit, does anyone else think that cyclists looked so much cooler when they didn't have to wear helmets?
Yeah, yeah, I know safety and all that, and I always wear mine, but when you had a cyclist going up the final mountain of the stage, sweat pouring down, they just looked better without the plastic lid.0 -
I've always loved the Euskaltel-Euskadi kit. I might have to buy myself one.0
-
Must say, I like the CTT kit, but don't think I could fork out twice as much as other kits to buy one myself! What's with the prices?
Like Lampre, CdE and Quick Step as well and recently the Columbia one has started to grow on me. Maybe even the Diquigiovanni one after seeing it so often in the last few weeks, despite being plastered with words!0 -
It was my Birthday last week, and I was very impressed to open my pressies to find a jersey, , bibs and socks in Cervello Test Team colours. Matches my RS, shame my ability does not match the bike or the kit.0

Why does everyone like the FDJ kit? I think its a bit boring. I LOVE the Cervelo, i just wish it wasn't so damn expensive. Although i probably wouldn't buy it if i didn't ride one.
I want the retro Quickstep kit they had for Flanders that they never got to wear. its lovely. Like someone else said on here, i also weirdly quite like the new ISD kit.
Whilst i used to wear them as a kid, i have a bit of a phobia wearing replica kit out now. Dunno why. (Still got a Casino (Why!?) and my Jeremy Hunt Banesto National Champs Jersey)
BRING BACK THE KELME KIT!! Loved those split Blue and Lime Green shorts!
Best:
Cervelo
Quickstep - Retro
Caisse
Worst:
Silence Lotto
Columbia
LPR
Diquigiovanni0
