I've persevered with my Bontrager Race saddle but my arse is killing me after every ride. Do saddles need breaking in?

Has anyone else changed the saddle on their EX8 and if so what to?

I have the rootbeer colour so if I change I want the saddle to match  So far the brown Charge Spoon is my only option, the white comes with red or blue stitching, and because of the sheer amount of people that have recommended them.

Thanks all :)
Sink the eight ball. Buy the lady a drink. And nobody knows my name.

yes some saddles need breaking in also some backsides need to get used to a saddle but you can usually tell if somethings going to be comfy or not within the first couple of rides (cant afford an ex8 unfortunately, crackin bike though).
    who cares?

saddle on my ex8 seems to be comfortable to me and has done since it was new. tipped the nose down a little. other than that, i haven't felt the need to buy a new one yet....
