How do I download this into my Garmin?

Thanks,

You need to download it as a gpx file.

Open up the route, having saved it. Go to the "Share" menu at the top of the map and "download .GPX". This will download it as a gpx file which you then copy to the GPX directory on your Garmin.

Let me know if it works, cos I did a similar thing with my mates - I uploaded the route - he downloaded it and rode it with me (and I knew the route) and he kept telling me that we should be over thataway.....

I'd use .tcx, I've heard all sorts of problems with GPX.

I download a course as a GPX or KML file, and then use an online service like GPSies.com to translate that into TCX or CRS, the format accepted by all Garmin devices.
