Your Jersey fit that is.

I like mine slightly loose esp around the shoulders but at the moment I'm in a bit of a quandary. I'm 5'10, 40.5 inch chest, 33 waist. I take XL in Giordana, Specialized and Northwave all of them slightly loose. Now I have just received a Castelli jersey in Large and its a snug fit, snug around the waist and shoulders but slightly tight around my chest and neck. I can live with that, it does stretch to accommodate but I'm just wondering how people here like their jersey fit, tight? snug? loose?

I am almost the same dimensions as you. 41" chest, 33 inch waist. I like the fit to be tight but not constricting.

I find Giordana XL to be much to "flappy", and prefer their L.

I love the fit of the Castelli L, but take an XL in Vermarc and Nalini.

I am caught between the L & XL for Santini, and can't find a Nike size that fits well at all!

I'm always in a quandry, I'm a 6'5" rake. To get a jersey long enough, it generally means it's a bit looser than I would ideally like.

I also find it hard to fit though door frames.

And my feet stick out the end of the bed.

Spooky, you are right about the Giordana. I had a L bought for me that I thought was too tight so yesterday in a shop I tried a XL on. It's ok around my chest but really flappy around the waist and 'tents' out forward when in a riding position, I have also received my XL Castelli and whilst not as flappy around the waist as the Girdana XL its still flappy so it looks like Large in Giordana and Castelli is right for me...
