Garmin 205 Edge: Mac friendly?

Am considering (as I do on a regular basis) a Garmin 205. As someone in another thread says re the 705, it is likely to be a 'glorified cycle computer' for me most of the time (although I fancy using the calorie option regularly). I would, however, like to use the BikeRoute Toaster thingy from time to time. Trouble is that I'm a MacUser and most of the references refer to PC interfaces (not exclusively, I realise, but mostly). Can anyone confirm that the 205 software and the Mac will talk nicely to one another without complicated workarounds? And whether the 205 is a decent buy for the 135 or so Wiggle's asking at the moment?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have a 305 which is the 205 with the heart rate/cadence option and it runs perfectly with my MacBook although the included Garmin Training Centre software is pants, it works ok but it's not very good. I downloaded Ascent from here http://www.montebellosoftware.com/ which is much better.'Hello to Jason Isaacs'0

http://connect.garmin.com/ was updated on the 26th to support all of their older GPS/HRM etc.
It's their replacement for motionbased.com (purchased a few years back but very slow to transfer stuff over) I'm currently using it on OSX 10.5.6 with Firefox and the their latest plugin.
I'm also an Ascent user but something about it is very non-mac, so I also use Trailrunner and have just stumbled across rubitrack which is very OSX looking.
I'm stil waiting to find something that can handle all non gps or HRM training, swim sessions, etc0
