Was working Saturday, at a party that night and spent Sunday with the girlfriend. She kept pointing out roadies as we were sat outside the Betsy Wynne pub in Swanbourne yesterday! Grrrrr

Going out for a ride this morning. Forcast is 21deg with 20% chance of rain (thunderstorms), so I'll pack a decent waterproof. I've missed all the great weather so I'm going to take advantage of my bank holiday off.

Thanks ND, it's taken the best part of 2 years to get to this week.

Most of which the bike has been a fantastic stress realease, so I can't complain about a few weeks off now.

All the best for your new family!

    Thanks again.
Believe it or not, we were very lucky to get to 'now' so quickly.

Am resting today  . Went out for a recovery ride yesterday, just meant to do an easy hour roll around come home and have a beer while watching the last day of the football. Except I forgot to keep an eye on the time, it was nice out and ended up a bit futher away and had to Fabian Cancellara all the way home. Except I wasnt going that quickly and I havent ever seen him hanging off the side of his bike trying not to puke

Was only planning on doing 50 miles yesterday, ended up being 128miles with over 5000ft of climbing.

    Resting my knee today.

I don't think you can get many better days for cycling in the UK than yesterday and today.
Been about 16c on the coast here today and going up to about 23c a mile or two inland. 8)

Really pleasing to see so many cycling today. Even if it's the first time their bike's been out of the garage since last year. :)

yeah you could. friday! - blue skys - no wind and a pleasent temp.

Whereas yesterday was think clag higher up, with grey skys lower down, a stiff breeze and a bit too humid. today - more of the same.
