Are avid elixrs better than the juicy range?

I just got a pair of elixr Rs setup on my Hellcat to replace the juicy 3s that were on there and their pretty impressive in terms of stopping distance and descent control plus they feel alot lighther than their predecessors . Was wondering if they are that good , do they have the potential to replace my juicy 7s on my ransom ? I may consider getting a pair for my 160mm trail ripper if they are successful on my testbed bike

Lots of power, good modulation.... But the set I had, I could never get the feel right. Always seemed to get air in 'em at some point and part way through a couple of rides, I'd be able to pull the lever all the way to the bar.... Eventually lost confidence in 'em and bought Hope Tech M4 (F) and Tech V2 (R)- Miles better IMO, better feel in your hands- proper quality, better feel on the lever- more solid and more power...
But as I said, when the Elixr's worked they were great brakes.
    My Pics !

Replaced my juicy 3s with elixirs. Miles better feel, less lever throw, more modulation, easier to swap pads, no brainer!

Yep. From what I've read the Elixir range will be replacing the Juicys. IMO this will make things much simpler, as the Avid line-up is far too complex at the moment.
