Finally, after a long wait my new Rockhopper Comp Disc is going to be here!! I haven't been on a bike for years, and the wait is killing me!!

Now I just need to find somewhere decent to ride in Basingstoke!!

Cheers! And it's all thanks to the brilliant CycleScheme initiative!

I had a Rockhopper as my first 'proper' mountain bike so I thought I'd stick with what I know after being out the loop for such a while!

Just out of interest - does anyone know what replaced Rock Shox Judy's as the fork of choice for XC'ers?!

Beyond me - not an XC expert.

I'm sure somebody will come along with the answer - or just an opinion! :D

I could be wrong, but just before losing my job I was about to splash out on a set of Rock Shox Rebas for my Rockhopper.

I ride XC and the Rebas seemed to fit the bill pretty well. 100mm travel, good adjustments, very light and Merlin had them for about £230.

Good to have you back, we like bikers 'er. And sheds. But only sheds that are designed to house a home bike shop...

+1 for Rebas. Magura Durin as a brand and fork that you may not have heard of. And at the cheap end, you'll find a pretty decent pair or Manitou Black forks second hand on Ebay that will serve you well.

I like Maguras, Rebas always review well. Other forks may be available & just as good. :D
I just bought some Maverick SC32s, then trashed my freewheel so I haven't got around to fitting them yet

Will let the whole world know if they're ace, hide in a corner cuddling my old P2s if they're shite...
