Hi all. I'm a beginner who wants to try his hand at some racing but hasnt a clue where to start or who to contact. Can anyone help me? Any hints and advice would be welcome. Thanks.
You should get in touch with a cycling club local to you. They usually run midweek club events, where you can turn up, pay a couple of pounds, and ride.
Best advise is to join a local club and find out from local riders - it's very difficult to acquire the riding skills and fitness to be a competent racer within joining a club.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Would definitely check out TLI races in your area - low cost way to have a try.

If you fancy time trialling, which is probably the easiest way into competitive cycling then check CTT
