New Tioga MX Pro pedals not spinning that freely?

I have just bought some of these:

They went on my cranks easily & with the pins, they are great for grip in comparison with my standard pedals that were on my bike.
However, the pedals do not seem to spin that freely. When the pedals are spun, they only turn about 1 revolution before coming to a stand. My old standard pedals at spun for at least a few revolutions.
I thought that with the cartridge bearing, they would spin very freely.
I rang up Chain Reactions & they said that they need to worn in & used for about 10 mins for grease to spread around.
Are they fobbin me off? I went out for a 45 min ride last night & they are still like it.

I have a pair of these.
They just have a very thick sticky grease.
You can clean out the grease, and use a thinner grease or oil.
essentially I don't think it is an issue,
The only problem I have had with these pedals is the bushing go fast so buy spares from CRC.Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?0 -
OK cheers for the tip cavegiant.
When you say bushings do you mean these things? :?

It's easy to get hung up on how freely things spin, the difference in resistance between one spin and 2 or 3 is basically irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, so don't worry about it.Uncompromising extremist0
