If they have siezed into the frame I'd try some Plus Gas. Can loosen fillings at 50 yards that stuff!0

Thanx for that Sonic But whats Plus Gas and where can I purchase this mate.0

It is a dismantling fluid in an aerosol. Halfords do it I think.0

hello mate if done right its a 2 min job
1 undo and remove one bolt and the alloy part bolt goes through and the end bolt
2 make sure the other side is tight
3 get a hamer and punch hit the bearing from the inside outwards should come off
4 fit new bearing and fully refit one side
5 repeat 1-4 on other side0 -
Thank you for all your help will give it a go Monday
If that dont work will knock out bearings.
I take it that I hit the bearing from between the frame and swing arm?0 -
I've just whipped mine out, it took about 3 minutes.
Make sure you're hitting the swingarm and not the bearing otherwise it won't budge.
I followed the instructions in the FAQ section on Oranges website.
http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/main/techfaqs.php#bearingswap
If you follow these instructions, you'll get both bearings out and can remove the whole swingarm if required0 -
Thanx for that But got one bearing off but the other does not budge
Tried about everything nearly half a can off Shock and Unlock
but nothing even tried tapping a small flat screwdriver against
the back of the bearing but it does not budge.
Looks like another trip to Halifax0
