I think they look quite sweet!

I wonder how much of a bike could be completely made from ti now?
    Would cost a fortune!

I have to say i do like the ti bars I tried, they were on an old skool trek and were flat, but absolutely lovely to ride.

So the 3-tube design is so they can use the exact amounts of material in each location that they want, to make it light but strong yet still having hte exact amount of flex and buzz reduction that they want. Seems a lot of effort, if only someone would invent some better material than metal for these things, perhaps using resin and some sort of carbon-derived fibres.

You musn't forget the demi-god of all current hardtail frame design came up with those, so abviously they will sell in their hundreds just because they have his name attached!

But they are gopping and seriously over priced.

Just don;t bring it up on STW as you'll be prodded with a big stick if you dis one of his designs

Ahh, been looking at getting a Jones myself.... Need the exchange rate to improve first. But, back on track, if I do get a Jones, then I will be fitting a Jones bar- at $500 what that works out at now- £350 ish?

i like the look, but they're too pricey, nearly a pound a gram LOL - they're not even particularly light.

Ugh!!, At first I couldn't understand the reference to 3 parts until I tried to scroll down the pic to see what the base was like  - thought they were like BMX handlebars until I realised that the pics showed the whole thing.

About the same as the Easton Monkeylite DH, which I guess would be part of the competition. If you're in the market for a Ti handlebar for DH you know it's not going to be cheap...

    Does nothing for me though.
