What size screw on the stem ?

Folks,
I am not beside my bike (and even if I were, frankly, I'm not sure how I could tell...) and need to find out what size screw is used on the stem cap on a Colnago CLX bike. Any ideas ? Sorry, daft question, I know.

    Allen key head size - 5mm

    It's nothing different from teh bolt that you'd get with any 1 1/8th headset.

    Many thanks. Would you know if the pitch for all 5mm Allen key head size screws are the same ? I was trying to determine whether a M6 screw would fit.

    By the way, what I am trying to do is to fit a Ram Mount ball on to the stem

    This is what I am thinking of buying:

    I have a Garmin device which attaches on to these Ram Mount balls and I wanted to attach it to the stem cap.
