Marin & Whyte

Thick questions department - does anyone know what the relationship between Marin & Whyte is? Some of the bikes look very similar...

    ATB are the UK distro for both brands.

    John Whyte retired from designing bikes last year, although Whyte the company still maintain close ties with Marin.

    ATB owns Whyte and imports Marins but both brands are developed by ATB here in Sussex.
    Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"

    Peasents who can't afford Whyte's buy Marins :P
