Not playing much at the moment though - I go riding at the weekends, and work is a bit mental. A 50 - 60 hour working week doesn't leave much time for being l337. -.-
  • I lost a good friend to this game. It took him 2 years to ever be the same again.

one of the lads at work plays it all weekend, i once managed to sneak into his room un heard due to his headset and have a poo in his sink. (the rooms in the block are en-suite)

i managed to leave his room without ever being noticed and the fact i was only there to visit someone on his floor means to this day he doesnt know it was me, he blames one of the other lads on his floor who once had to confess to having baked a poo in the microwave in the kitchen they all share.

I'm not sure if sink-poohing is more or less socially unacceptable than being a WOW addict

(I play Eve Online, mainly because it's not infested with brats and retards. Well, it is but none of them can work out how to get their ships out of the stations so it doesn't matter. Once you've played an MMO where you can actually take a loss, everything else feels absurd)

I too lost a friend to WoW. He's never recovered.

Also, I know another guy who plays on his computers (in the block - I'm an Army guy too), but one isn't enough, he has THREE!!!!

    What??!

And yeah, all on WoW simultaneously. Also, he liked to dress up as a wizard and go to Pagan festivals (Solstice - summer and winter). And he had random (to me, atleast) tattoos, of Zadock (I think?). I'll just add to that though, he is a really top guy. A good bloke, just a little bit odd...

Anyway, guess it's all horses for courses, right?

I used to play too, started on EU release and stopped just after Wotlk came out. Tried to get back into a about a month ago but I think I played about 3 hours in a month so cancelled again.

That's the voice of an addict if ever I heard one :wink:
I have a Lvl 35 Dwarf Hunter, but I haven't played for so long. The updates were takin up quite a bit of room on my HDD, plus, whenever I played, I'd notice that 4 hours would have flown by and I was just wasting time.
Good game though, I think it's a good idea. I don't have a headset though, that could have made it better.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
