    tyres are the cheapest upgrade that will make a difference.

    Kevlar folding tyres can shed about 1/2 lb off a bike (depending on what tyres you have & what new ones you get)

    Kenda Nevegal Stick-E up front with a Nevegal DTC out back is a good combo.
