creaking handlebars

Hi all,

My handlebars creak when I'm up on the pedals, any cure?

Bike is Specialized Hard Rock Comp, about 18 months old.

    Take them out of the stem, clean everything where they mount and re tighten correctly when refitting- cured mine....

    If that does not fix it, a bit of grease under where the brakes/shifters clamp to the bars is also worth a go - this was the cause of a squeak on my commuter recently.
    You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
    If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
    If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
