Went out to Queen Elizabeth country park riding today. This is the Slalom section on the advance trail.
Had a brill day.
Just at the point i relised my brakes were sharp and almost came of strate down to the lad that was taken pics lmfao.
This is the piont i did come of was pushing a little to hard the susspension seemed to kick me of down the track. lol
My mate hitting some of the burms on his way down
Trying hard to catch my mate the sod. he took advantage of me coming of.
almost at the bottom
This is why we ride to get muddy as F**K lmfao
I know we had a god ride, as i came of 4 times and almost hit 2 trees. NOTE to self must try harder lmfao

It's a nasty little climb that the desent after it is well worth it though. Have you tried the new bit on the purple route yet? Well worth a look when ou're next up there.0
-
isnt the purple route a steady slow one chap will have a look will be there the weekend. i love the decent after that climb get a buzz every time i come flying down it lmfao0
-
It is/was mainly firetrail but now the singtrack goes from the top of the park down to where the advanced climb goes down by the A3. It also crosses the advanced just before the desent into the snakebite switchback section in your pics. It's not sign posted yet but it's hard to miss, go left from the snakebite up the fire road keep left climb to the top and it's about 20 meters after the bridal path on the left.
As for slow and steady, yeah maybe but I would say it has the longest climb out of the two official routes in the park. The new advanced climb is much easier now it's not straight up the side of the hill0 -
will lok into that chap cheers. I take it you ride there alot. If ya free sunday i will be there with my mate if ya up for meating up chap. always happy to ride and meet new ppl0
-

Would that be something to do with meat pies?
nice pics, you might want to get some more padding and protection if you're coming off that often. Last time I came off I broke my wrist and was off the bike for 2 months
yer think it is somit to do with meat pies lol cant spell to well chap lol.
dont need padding lol got lots naturely. lmfao0 -
Eranu wrote:Here's a video of that singletrack I was on about.if you go right at 3.55 instead of down on the grass you can pick up the orange route again down past the A3 then do the climb and go down the switchbacks afterwards, makes the loop a bit longer.
ya will have to show me chap if ya fancy meating up there budd. didnt relise it was yo that posted in y marin build thread0 -
Will probably have to be either this weekend or June. Just got back from the park now, nothing beats "working" whilst riding tbh0
