Allo,

I'm new here, so please bear with my (probably) dumb questions. Anyway, first up; I've got an Alex/Specialized wheelset on my bike that is painted that satiny-black colour. All very nice, but twigs and stones don't 'alf play havoc with the finish. Can anybody recommend a touch-up paint to keep one's spokes and rims looking gooooooooorgeous???

Much luv,

  • Little scrapes and scratches on a new bike should be considered a good thing!

All cool. But imagine if you were going to touch up your rims and spokes, what would you use?

  • Probably just a black felt tip?, paint sounds like a faff.
Or a touch up brush from an auto-spares shop if you really must, although it will slow your bike down! :D

errr.....nope....tried it. However hard I try, I can't imagine a situation in which I'd touch up my rims and spokes!

just think of them as battle scars! My bike is picking up quite a few scratches in the 6 months i've had it. Its annoying but unfortunatly its the nature of the sport, rocks, sticks, mud, putting it in the car/van/on bike rack all play a part.

As said earlier if i was to touch up black perm marker will do nicely. Or stickers from MBUK!
Bikes are OK, I guess... :-)
