Giant ISP Seat Post Clamp Help
A friend was selling his slightly used '08 Giant TCR Advanced ISP and I fitted it nicely provided we used all the spaces that came with the seat post clamp to take it up to it's clamp limit. I'm still a little concerned about the limited amount of clamp surface area left and I have seen that the new '09 Giant ISP's come with a 20mm and 45mm clamp body.
Firstly, what are the total length of these two clamps as even my current clamp is around 45mm total length and I can't imagine Giant would supply a smaller clamp.
Secondly, are these new clamps compatible with the '08 models seat post?

Yeah sure, seat clamp, but it also binds to the post. This is the '09 one.
