No, Mountains about the size of ben nevis almost all around me, at the moment with 20°C and blue sky - going for a 20KM downhill session this afternoon 8)

Very Nice. Wish I lived there. I've holidayed at the hochfirst, near lake titisee a few times. Great chairlift at todnau, is that where your doing your downhill? notised a start gate at the top when we went to ride the roller coaster. Or do you go to the feldburg?

Any chance of sending me some lenzkircher wheat beer? lol. That is the best beer we've every had. Brought 2 crates home last year, via a couple of laps of the nordscheilfe to shake it up a little. lol.

If we go back again in the future, fancy giving us a guided tour of the trails? :D

    Hi Grimy,

Terrible news - Todtnau has been closed! The guy running it wasn't making any cash so has moved on to work for SRAM in Austria.
We have to ride up the mountains here now...Found some sweet spots near schauinsland and hinterzarten (not too far from Titisee) which are pretty heavy going in places...=> fun fun fun.
If you're in the area I'll glady show you a few routes.
Be wary of the midday beer though, tends to be a bit stronger than you think..
