Garmin Forerunner 305

I just brought one today, i was wondering if it is possible to see the time? I couldn't see it in the manual... It would be so strange not to have a current time on a watch.

please confirm...

    You can see the current time by either pressing the mode button and reading the time from the bottom bar where it shows the battery remaining graph or you can assign it to one of the main display windows. See page 39 of the manual on how to "Changing Data Fields" and page 50 for a list of available data fields. "Time of Day" is explained on page 52.

    Hi, Turbo.

    I've been considering one of those, ever since I borrowed a colleague's 'Forerunner 101'.

    How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking? I'm sick that I missed out on the pcworld deal - £69.97! :shock:

    I've also been looking at the 'Edge 205 & 305'.

    The 310XT will be out soon. May want to look at that as it is a replacement for the 305.

    The Edge 305 is superb. You can pick them up new for £160 and second hand for £80.

    I am borrowing a friends with Heart Monitor and Cadence. I was gonna go for the 705 before I borrowed this. I will stick with the 305 :)

    Halfords have the 205 in clearance for £69 but if you can get them to price match the PC world offer of £19.97 like i did(I got 2) you will be more than happy

    They are not on the website as they are clearance items so just pop along to ur local Halfords think it needs to be one of there superstores and just look in their clearance cabinet or ring around

    I'm on mac and I use GPSies.com for making routes and downloading them to me edge 205 are you mac or PC? If you are PC the program at this site is good http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/
