When soapy water isn't enough....

.... what do you use?

I have a number of marks on my frame which general scrubbing with a sponge isn't having any impact on. They're generally on the underside of the down tube/BB and back of the seat tube so not highly visible, but as a bit of a cleaning obsessive I would like to get them clean and shiny.

Any tips out there?

Halford's own brand degreaser cleans anything.

Finish off with furniture polish for the perfect shine.

Best thing I have found is baby wipes. Seriously.

A bit of GT85 or WD40 can work well. Make sure you wipe off the residue.
Best to spray it on to the cloth rather than directly on the frame.

I use WD40 from the pound shop, it's only 1 quid, cleaned brilliantly.

I've found Muc off to be quite crap, soap and water does just as good.
