My trusty Rock Shox Recon air fork has been playing up recently. The travel seems to be seriously limited and the lock out function no longer locks out the fork.
When compressing the fork with my hands it compresses to an inch of its travel and then stops dead in its tracks.
Evans have quoted me £65 to fix it but I can't afford it. If anyone could help that would be really helpful

It sounds like the damping cartridge has died - and will need a strip and service. Or even replaced.
