tidying cables

quite a wierd question but how does everyone tidy there cables coming from the handlebars, mine are forever flapping around and rubbing paint of forks and frame, any pictures of some clever cable tie usage?

Are the correct length? Smooth arcs form the controls, not too long, and definitely not too tight. Frame patches stop the rub.

As SS says, correct length is the key along with patches. Cable ties are not really needed and if anything can cause correct length cables to pull in funny directions when turning the bars
