I'm sick of adjusting the cable brakes on my Rockrider 6.3 and performance is very mixed so I'm following a deal on front and rear of the below delivered for £72 which seems very reasonable.

Will swapping them onto the Rockrider be an easy task, will the existing discs do ?

Not being a techie even I suspect swapping brakes over should be pretty straightforward .

Thanks in advance.

you will definately need a "post to IS adapter" for the rear fitment and your front brake might well need one too.

Thanks, ordered them so we'll see.

The Rockrider already has 'U' shaped IS mounts attached to the frame with caliper mounting points at about 75mm.

Are the bolting points on the calipers an industry standard distance apart ?

Incredible..........luck is with me for once.

They bolted straight on, no alterations required, rear cable is a touch long and will need cable tieing in but they were both fitted in 30mins.

Of course they'll need bedding in but for less than £70 the pair they are a performance bargain, stopping power is huge.
