There doesn't appear to be a quick release on the 11 speed Chorus brakes. Anybody aware of how to open the brakes withing have to undo the cable clamp?

Look at the brake lever. At the top, there will be a little silver button. Push that across and the brake will release.
  • Got it! Thanks a lot, I would never of guessed that!

Have Campag brakes ever had quick releases?

They have never had them on the calipers, only the levers.
  • See, leaving the dark side of Shimano is taking some getting used to!

Could never go back now though!

Yes, my Super Record 1985 had quick releases very similar to the current system used by Shimano...

You must be too young to remember the times of Hinault and Moser....

Back in those days, Modolo were the dogs dinglies as far as brakes went...
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

you must be joking... my Super Record beat those Modolos any given day... I still have that bike in Italy... I ride it about 200 miles every year, mostly up some alpine climbs just to keep it going without wearing the original parts. It's impressive how well it rides after 20 + years... not sure the current Super Record will last 20 years in pristine conditions
