The BBC cut transmission as programme came to an end so we didn't see her getting her gong. :(

    Talk about cutting it close, now that was one close finish, probably closer than Cav's finish at Milan-San Remo.

    looks like it took everything to do it, physicallly and mentaly... but she did it all the same.

    Sure was close, but not just the final heat. The two before she was only the thickness of a spoke infront in the 1st and then behind by two in the second.

    I watched it live on Eurosport. She was in tears for ages, she couldn't even speak in the interview 20 minutes later. :shock:
