Please help!!

I have just purchased a Monoc TC2 compact frame, which i am looking to build into a decent fast road bike. Can anyone advise me on building this? Any advise on fork fitting, crank fitting and any pitfalls to watch out for when buying parts would be greatfully received.

Many thanks. Martin

    Hi
Have 2 of these, the seatpin is 31.6 just in case you did not know, cracking frames well under- rated, will build up in to a nice bike you should have no problems at all building it up.
  • Thanks for the reply, frame has arrived today, purchased from ebay. Super condition.

Looking for a group set to fit this frame if anyone has one to sell.
Any advise on parts to fit to this frame?

    Thanks

I've got the Monoc Quattro Pro frame built up with Ultegra.

My suggestion would be not to use a shim with the frame as it starts to creak which is really annoying. Otherwise it has been a very nice bike so far and I got it second hand off a friend.

  • Is it the chainset that creaks and is it particular because it is used with the monoc frame?
