Which BB for octalink XT triple cranks?

Hello

I have a set of Shimano XT Hollowtech cranks that take an octalink BB. I know the size of the BB shell but would like to know if I need a 113 or 118mm axle?

Can anyone advise?

if you can wip the current bb out and have a look at its sizing, either that or pop the crank arms off and measure it that way,

That is a good suggestion and I would have done that if there was a BB in the frame! There isn't, hence my question.

and what chainline does the frame want?
