How about going for a "flight" on the London Eye?

Go down to the Embankment/south bank, just pass the Royal Festival Hall.

There's a place called St Christopher's dock (by the Oxo tower), that's nice, a few cold ones and hopefully the weather will be nice for you. A walk along the river etc etc..... and shouldn't cost you that much - don't venture to the Oxo tower unless you have sold a kidney... been there a few times with clients - tres expensive it can be (£7.00 for a G&T)

Or take her on a river cruise - cheap as chips, and if it's a nice day all the better! Plus they have a bar on-deck! Always good to ease into the night!

Covent garden is a good place to go, loads of pubs and a great buzzy atmosphere..... I recommend the Punch and Judy, Belushi's Bar.. there's loads

Trust me, I'm a Londoner!
  • take her shopping, girls love that, and if she bores you, stuff some items in her bag & call security.

+1 for Covent Garden. Also The Eye is good, if a tad expensive, and book beforehand if you can. Open top bus ride is good as you can get on and off at your leisure all day long. They all have a guide on board as well to give you the low down on the sites. A good one can make the trip ten times better. I like the area around Leicester Square and Regent Street. Some good shops. Haven't been onto Oxford Street for ages. IMO, not much different to any other high street in any other city.

Get a place in a BBC audience for something and/or get a tour around the studios. It's free I think but you need to book.

dont go to the tate modern whatever you do, i went last week and it was rubbish, i mean proper rubbish, the building itself is gorgeous but modern art is rubbish. (i thought the same in the liverpool version too)

i also went to the national gallery and that was really good: big pictures, of big horses, mega.

the british museum was a bit rubbish too tbh. but the imperial war museum is absolutely brill, not sure if a bird would appreciate it though.

i have done the london eye before and i really liked that, is an ace way to see london.

London Eye is good! Expensive but still good!

I've done it twice in the past! That then off to grab a bite to eat at a nice restraunt would go a treat?

Depends on what she's in to - i.e. hobby wise? Do you have any ideas? She might wanna go watch a film, or go bowling, take in a play in the West End - or maybe just pizza hut and a coke would suffice! ;)

thanks for all of the advice that isn't sex related, i think it may have to be either cinema or shopping (typical woman ;( ) so i think i will be dragged along oxford street but i now hope its really rainy so i dont have to do that ;) have given thought about oxo tower though i think it could be quite romantic cheers for the help but it isnt for another week so keep it coming!
