Started out with this.

and then it had a fresh XP on the IDE 120GB drive
and the music put on the new 500GB SATA drive.

    all FLAC files and all ripped with EAC about 5000 tracks.

    I really need another HD... Started ripping 1080p movies to HD and some are 20g+ :lol:

    5000 tracks sounded pretty impressive, so I decided to check how many songs I had on my computer...

    16,003 items, totalling 74.8 GB. Bloody hell...

    It's not real if you download, you need to actually have the album in your hand for it to be really. Still got some of my vinyl even though I've nothing to play it on. Nothing like a gatefold sleeve.......

    Aye. No point in me encoding in lossless format though, my MP3 player's the only thing I have which has sound quality high enough to have it make a difference and that doesn't support FLAC...

    I checked my music, well not, too many CD's, and mine are roughly 5000. All on MP3 and cda.

    But those are a lot of movies. :shock: Let's see how much do I have, hmmmmmm.....10. :lol:


    Very few songs and movies are legal, here. Don't tell anyone.

    well the motherboard/CPU died i was trying to fit a quieter fan and it just stopped.
    would not run for more that5 secs etc dead as a dodo.

    Nice and silent and a bit faster...

    and i have just had a look on my portable external Hard drive that i use for Music at work.
    37,9GB 9152 files. and that does not include the FLAC albums!
