wheels for a rebuild
My Lazzaretti steel frame re-build is going quite a bit over budget, as I let myself to be talked into Campagnolo. Well, it came with a Chorus BB and went on from there.
(Probably, I should have just left it as seven sped and had friction downtube shifters. But then I got a Chorus 10spd Chorus rear mech off the Bay and it is a beautiful frame so I am going to get some new alloy Centaur shifters ...)
Anyway, it can only take a 23mm tyre, and that with very little clearance. (For example, I can't fit my 25mm tyred wheel from the Trek 1.7 at the back)
But I want to use this for some commuting in nice weather, so some solid, tough wheels would be good.
Is Mavic Aksium the consensus choice or are there others?
