guys im having a few niggles with my week old NS Core 1

it has avid juicy 3 brakes on it, the front is perfect however the rear pads seem to rub for almost the full rotation of the wheel ever so slightly
i have no idea how to adjust this. should i just leave it until the pad is broken in???

secondly my bottom bracket seems to make a squaling squeaking noise during cranking, not all the time, its most audible when turning the cranks backwards, im going to give it a dose of lubricants tonight but should i be concerned??

lastly my front derallieur does not shift well between the big and little cog and the chain does not seat well on 1 particular gear, how would i go about adjusting this myself.

i cant take it back to the shop purchased as its in Glasgow and i now reside in London
so DIY or shelling out at another bike shop are my options

hope to hear from you soon
David

Brakes sound about normal, give them more time. I assume they were set up correctly to start and the rotor is central to the caliper.

What crank and bottom bracket is it?

Sounds like the gears need tweaking: have a look on the Park Tools website for a full guide on what to do.

If you have a chain guide, check its not the rollers that are squeaking.
