Met Parachute helmet

Does anyone have one of there? what do you think?

I'm looking for a new helmet and am becoming interested in this. I can't seem to find what it looks like when the chin gard of off though

    I use the Parachute for Hard XC/Trail riding
    And Full Face for those Downhill days.

    isn't this around £100 tho :shock:

    you could get a nice piss pot AND a full face for cheaper!!

    Ya something like that. The 09 giro xen is 109 quid!

    just wondering if anyone had some pics without the chin strap on, does it offer similar coverage to a xen or hex for examples when you feel the terrain doesn't justify the chin piece.

    I've had a look in oher posts but didn't find any. I know all the pros and cons too, i.e. I know it's not the same as a full face, it's not supossed to be as i've seen previous posts on the parachute "annoy" people

    Never bother taking it off to be honest

    But would not use the Full Face for average riding especaily a cheap Full Face
    being the weight of it, neck ache and be hot too for longer average rides.
    The Parachute is the lighter of these full face type helmets

    Other than that Speacalized do a Derviant in a lighter carbon but more expensive
    but is heavier than the Parachute.
