This is a really stupid question, but i cant find the bloomin Serial number for my new FSR XC COMP.
There is a sticker on one of the tubes with a number on it but i thought there should be something engraved on the frame somewhere.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance - MTB Numpty

Not sure if you have checked, :?:
But on my Rockhopper and GF Hardrock the serial No. is stamped on the frame underneath the bottom bracket.

I thought the base of the bottom bracket was the universal site for stamping serial numbers?

Nope, there's nothing stamped underneath the bottom bracket. There are 3 numbers/letters stamped there but thats not long enough.

    Im genuinely baffled..... :?

  • Maybe it's a ringer and they've unscrupulously ground the serial off to remove all traces of their crime....... or it may have been used as the getaway vehicle in a bank robbery and they didn't want it to be traced back to them
