Midge Bars
I ride an On One cross bike which I bought second hand. It came with a set of Midge bars on it and despite finding them quite comphy when I took it for a test spin the day I got it, I imediately changed them for a regular set of drops as I couldn't get over how wierd they looked.
Lately I have been thinking I might give them another go, as on the regular drops I spend 90% of the time on the hoods and rarely drop down. I think the lower drop of the Midges might actually suit me.
Before you all tell me to just put them on and give them a go, this is exactly what I intend to do. In the mean time I just wanted to hear some opinions on them from anyone that has used them. Love them or hate them. I'd also be interested to hear of anyone using them riding on London. I have never seen anyone and am a bit concerned about their width when using them in traffic.
All opinions welcome

If you can get them at the right height so that you are now riding in the drops 90% then you will like them. If you still find that you want to ride on the hoods, because the drop is still too low for you to reach comfortably, then you might not like 'em.
I found them uncomfortable there as there is no 'ramp' behind the hoods, such as you would find on a regular drop bar.
Used them in London as well and they were fine. Yeh, they are wide but after a while you won't notice.0
